There’s a new girl,
It's made the whole school go into a whirl,
She is a bit shorter than you or me,
But if you got to know her, you would totally see,
The new girl is not so different after all,
The new girl is much more than that she is a bit small.
Inspired by the 2021 children's book, 'Mummy, There's A New Girl' by Danielle Webb, 'New Girl' transport us to the 'new girls' playground at Theatre41. With the help of our incredible funders, this show recently took to the Theatre @ 41 stage in York and helped open usually avoided conversations and start challenging discrimination from a young age.

'New Girl' provides young people, and grown-ups alike, an insight into how we can learn about one another and champion what makes each and everyone of us unique and we are continuing to raise funds to tour this gorgeous story around local schools later in 2023.
