Wanting to create a large-scale community artwork piece for the set, Thunk-It created a monthly craft group made up of fabulous artists, crafters, and creative people from in and around Pocklington! The group became a tight-knit crew, and helped put together all of the community waterlilies and made some of their own!

We also have Nicky from @njartcreations, who has kindly painted some beautiful canvases, which are on sale at the Arts Centre on the 8th March 2026! All proceeds are going towards supporting Thunk-It Youth Theatre.

From sewing, crocheting, painting, and a fair amount of hot-glueing, the group did amazing work, and our set would not be anywhere near as beautiful without them!

Our waterlily display will be used in the set for the performances on the 8th March and then are available to be viewed in the Pocklington Arts Centre studio from the 10th-21st March 2026!
