Five young people stood in a group wearing yellow sashes across their shoulders and chests with different badges attached to them. They are all holding their hands in certin gestures as if in the middle of using sign language.

Thirsk Youth Theatre!

Thirsk Youth Theatre, run by Thunk-It Theatre, is a monthly group for young people aged 11+. Meeting on the last Saturday of each month, these sessions are all about having fun while developing theatre skills both on and off the stage. Alongside acting and performance, members get the chance to explore the behind-the-scenes magic of theatre too – from set building and design to the practical skills that bring a show to life. It’s a relaxed, creative space where teens can try out new ideas, learn together, and enjoy the full experience of theatre-making.

The sessions run monthly on the last Saturday of the month @ Rural Arts, Thirsk. These sessions are free and can be booked by emailing hello@thunkittheatre.co.uk

Thirsk Youth Theatre by Thunk-It Theatre is kindly funded by National Lottery.
