Families looking for fabulously fun creative opportunities will find plenty to enjoy with the latest updates from Thunk-It - from the Barnyard project and Platform 66, to family theatre performances!

Barnyard Project Brings Sensory Theatre Sessions to Families

This week marked the launch of Thunk-Its Barnyard Projects! We started working with the Barnyard, attending their fabulous weekly stay and play sessions. The focus is on creative and sensory play, which helps children aged 0-5 explore their senses and imagination in a supportive environment.

Becky, the project leader, attends every Tuesday morning from 9:15 to 10:30 am to guide families through activities that build towards a unique sensory theatre piece. Each week, participants contribute to creating new elements of this theatre experience, making it a collaborative and evolving project.

Families interested in joining can find more information and sign up through the Tadcaster Barn’s website: https://tadcasterbarn.co.uk/ or just drop in!

Countdown to the Biggest Project Yet

Excitement is building as Team Thunk-It prepares for its largest and most ambitious project to date, scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Pocklington Arts Centre.
